Appointments & Cancellations
Minimum 24 hours’ notice required for cancellations or rescheduling
Cancellations/reschedules within 24 hours may incur a fee
No-shows or not being home at the scheduled time will result in a travel fee; deposit required to rebook
Appointment reminders sent 48 hours prior
Appointment Windows & Scheduling
Appointments are scheduled within a time window, not a guaranteed arrival time
Arrival times may vary due to traffic, weather, or previous appointments
Clients must be available for the entire appointment window
Unavailability during the scheduled window may be treated as a no-show
Stress, Safety & Handling Policy
Dog’s safety and well-being are the top priority
Services may be stopped if a dog is overly stressed, aggressive, or unsafe to handle
Partial service fee may apply for time and effort already spent
Grooming With Tamara reserves the right to decline or discontinue service if the dog is not a good fit
If a dog poses a risk, grooming may be recommended to be done by a veterinarian
All safety decisions are final and made in the best interest of everyone
At-Home Nail Trim Policy (Owner Not Home)
Meet-and-greet required before first appointment without owner present
Key or door code must be provided for access
Access information used only for scheduled appointments
Dogs must be easily accessible, not confined in hard-to-reach areas
Owner Not Home / Dog Handling
Leash must be available
Dog must have been previously met and assessed
Services may be completed without owner present if conditions are met
Service may be stopped or rescheduled if dog becomes unsafe or uncooperative
Payment Policy
Accepted: debit, credit, or cash only
E-transfers not accepted as of January 2026
Payment due at time of service
Failure to pay may result in refusal of future bookings
